Authorities reveal cause of Detroit parking garage deaths

The Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office announced on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, that the Feb. 10 deaths of two children inside their family's van at Detroit's Greektown Casino parking garage was due to carbon monoxide toxicity — not freezing temperatures.
