Emergency Warning Issued as Flash Floods Inundate Davenport

A flash flood emergency was declared in Davenport, Iowa, and surrounding areas on Friday, July 11, as heavy rainfall inundated the area. This footage was captured by Roland Glembine, who said that it shows two men inspecting a partially submerged car and finding it to be abandoned. The National Weather Service urged residents to seek higher ground and to avoid walking or driving through floodwaters. The emergency warning was to remain in place until 4 am on Saturday morning.
