Thursday's weather: Tropical storm possibly brewing in the South

A low pressure area in the Gulf of Mexico could lead to a tropical storm as most of the region will experience heavy rain Thursday. The Midwest and West will enjoy dry conditions while the Northeast will have scattered showers.
