Jury hands down mixed ruling in Ireton case

Salisbury Mayor Jim Ireton was found liable Tuesday of verbally assaulting Lore Chambers, his second-in-command in 2013, but without the malice distinction that would have allowed Chambers to claim monetary damages in the civil case.
