Migrants rescued off coast of Italy unwelcome on land

Roughly 3,500 migrants were rescued from the Mediterranean Sea Saturday, en route from Libya to Italy. Before they even arrived on land, a number of local politicians vowed against hosting any more migrants until current asylum claims are processed.
