The Eiffel Tower 'goes dark' for Aleppo

On Wednesday, December 14th, Mayor Anne Hidalgo gave the order to turn off the lights in Paris' Eiffel Tower to show the city's solidarity with and support for the besieged inhabitants of Aleppo, Syria.
