Russian anti-Putin colonel shot dead in the Ukraine

A former member of the Russian parliament, Denis Voronenkov, was shot and killed in the city of Kiev. Voronenkov, a colonel in the Russian military and a frequent critic of president Vladimir Putin, had plans to testify at the trial for treason of former Ukraine President Victor Yanukovych.
